The first stop after leaving in early morning hours is BIRDS PARK, lovely place with lakes, pavilions and plenty of flowers. Here you can see lots of Indonesian birds. High-light are different birds of paradise (mostly from Irian Jaya), bright purple heron, odd-looking hornbill, couple of Kasuars and hornbill Javanese kingfisher, that you can see on rice fields around Ubud too. To the end don’t let the opportunity to see white Balinese starling go, the only endemic and endangered bird kind on Bali. Birds park is really good choice for nature lovers.
Located next to Birds Park. You can see wide representation of reptiles not only from Indonesia there. There are Komodo dragons, 8 m long python and if you want to you can cuddle one of scaly green iguanas.
