Denpasar is ca 2,5 hours from resort by bus. You come to capital city of island Bali – Denpasar. You walk the gold-sellers-street – Jalan Hasanudin and the Jalan Sulawesi Street, where exotic fabrics and furniture sold are and where you can watch colorful Asian mummery. Soon you come to the biggest Bali’s market - Pasar Badung with fresh giant fish, exotic vegetable and fruit, sweet flowers and other materials for offertories to Bali’s gods, spices and many others. Nearby is Pasar Kumbasari, in its floors you can see wood-carvings, traditional dresses and handicraft items. From here you walk to most important Denpasar’s temple – Pura Jagatnata, where daily many Bali’s prayers are. Walk the Gajah Mada Street to Puputan
Place, where back in 1906 after conflict with Dutch army 4.000 Balinese people, including the royal family of Bali died. Last very interesting stop is Denpasar’s night market – Pasar Kreneng, where you find everything what average Bali’s man need to life and after that a dinner. Night life in Denpasar, surf-beach in Kuta and shopping – reason for visit.
