We are a modern 5-star dive center and have everything you need for diving and snorkeling.
Our rental gear is well-equipped, but every diver will confirm that owning your own equipment is invaluable. A thorough knowledge of your gear and how to operate it can prevent nearly all problems while diving.
Wetsuit
For water temperatures around 25–30°C, everyone should choose the neoprene thickness that suits them best. Usually, this is a 3 mm or 5 mm full-length wetsuit. This water temperature remains fairly constant down to depths of 50 meters or more. However, keep in mind that dive durations often exceed 50 minutes, and some sites are known for their cold currents (down to 17°C), so in these waters, you can easily get chilled. A hood or even a full change of clothes can come in handy. Thick gloves, however, can be a hindrance; thinner “coral” gloves should suffice.
I won’t discuss the decompression computer, octopus, and other now-standard equipment components. Instead, I want to emphasize the decompression or surface marker buoy. At several dive sites, it is an essential piece of equipment without which a diver should not enter the water. While its use is typically required only for Advanced Open Water Divers (AOWD) and above, our experience shows that every diver can master its use perfectly after a little practice.
