Basic Open Water Diver (OWD) Course
Our shared goal is to teach you diving techniques up to 18 meters. In a relaxed way, we will go through the basics you need to discover the beauty of the underwater world. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver qualification with lifetime international validity.
The duration of the OWD course - is approximately 3–4 days. Each day, we cover a bit of theory, learn to control diving techniques, and conduct dives in a pool or protected open water. The goal is to learn as much as possible about diving in a fun way. We know how to do it!
What you need to enroll in the course- Age from 10 years old (our oldest student completed the course at the age of 68), general physical fitness, a medical check-up is recommended, the ability to swim 200 meters on the surface without fins or 400 meters with fins, and 10 meters underwater. Most importantly, the desire to explore the world beneath the surface. The course is conducted in Czech, English, or German, depending on your preference.
Where will you take the course - Our dive center at the resort offers an air-conditioned classroom, a fully equipped rental shop, and a spacious training pool. The coral garden in front of the resort is vibrant, colorful, and safe.
