A divine game on the Island of the Gods
There are several golf courses on Bali, featuring both coastal and mountain settings.
Our guests often take advantage of combined travel packages. During a 10–14 day stay on the island, they typically play on at least two different courses, combining the joy of movement and the game with a relaxing stay at the Czech-owned Relax Bali resort.
On non-golfing days, guests can choose between active leisure (such as sightseeing tours, diving, etc.) or restorative relaxation (including the resort’s spa and massage services).

Recognized as one of the top 5 golf courses in Asia, it offers a truly unique golfing experience thanks to its layout. Holes 1–9 ascend inland through dense tropical vegetation, providing players with magnificent views over the Nusa Dua region, the Indian Ocean, and distant mountains.
Course architects Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright created a unique and unforgettable golfing experience for visitors to Bali. Stone walls were incorporated along the edges of fairways and tee boxes to mimic the iconic rice terraces of the Balinese countryside. Holes 10–16 offer views of gently sculpted fairways lined with numerous bunkers, running through a coconut grove rising up to 30 meters in height, naturally defining the course’s boundaries.
In the final stretch, golfers can enjoy the beauty of a coastal layout, where the 17th hole plays toward the shoreline of the blue Indian Ocean and is influenced by a fresh sea breeze. The 18th hole tees off from just behind the beach and finishes near the clubhouse beside a lake.

This 18-hole course, designed by five-time Open Champion Peter Thomson together with Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream, was ranked by Golf Magazine in 1980 as one of the Top 50 Greatest Golf Courses in the World — a distinction it continues to hold today.
Golfers from around the globe travel to Bali to play on one of Asia’s most iconic “classic” courses. The Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club is located in northern Bali and is uniquely set within the crater of an extinct volcano at an altitude of 1,142 meters above sea level.
The resort is surrounded by lush green mountains, a volcanic lake, and equatorial rainforest, creating a dramatic and scenic backdrop. One of the most distinctive features of this world-famous golf destination is its pleasantly cool climate year-round, fresh mountain air, and temperatures ideal for a comfortable game — typically ranging between 14 and 24 °C.
