A Walk and a Shower at the Waterfall
The Forest Waterfall is about a half-hour scooter or car ride from the Relax Bali resort. You’ll enjoy a relatively easy 20-minute hike through the jungle. Along the way, you’ll pass small “gardens” where locals cultivate coconuts, cloves, vanilla, rambutan, and other interesting plants. There are also shelters where you can refresh yourself with coffee and cold drinks.
The trail winds around a “sacred spring,” where locals collect water for ceremonies. The area around the waterfall enjoys a pleasantly cool climate year-round. Don’t miss the chance to wade directly under the waterfall, where you can enjoy a fantastic natural water massage and refreshing coolness.
